/R E P E A T -- Media Advisory - Toronto Media Will Have First Look at the CIBC Pan Am/Parapan Am Athletes' Village/ Français
TORONTO, June 15, 2015 /CNW/ - The TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games Organizing Committee (TO2015) invites media to be the first to tour the CIBC Pan Am/Parapan Am Athletes' Village. Members of the media who attend will experience a behind-the-scenes look of what it takes to operate a "home away from home" for some of the world's top athletes.
Led by Julia Wilkinson (two-time Olympian, swimming) and Kimberly Hyacinthe (track and field athlete/Pan Am hopeful), the tour will include an inside look at the Village's gym, dining hall, bank/café and Polyclinic.
Located on an 80-acre site next to the Don River in Toronto's waterfront district, the Athletes' Village will be home for 7,400 athletes, coaches and officials during the Pan Am Games in July, as well as 3,300 athletes, coaches and officials during the Parapan Am Games in August.

If you are travelling by transit or taxi, please enter the Village through the security gate located at Eastern Avenue and Cherry Street.
If you are driving and need to unload equipment, please enter through Gate 5, which is located by the intersection at Bayview Avenue and Lower River Street.
Please note there is no on-site parking. The closest public parking lot is located on Mill Street.
