TORONTO, Oct. 18, 2013 /CNW/ - Toronto Port Authority (TPA) Board Chairman Mark McQueen will be speaking at the Toronto Region Board of Trade on October 21, 2013.
Porter Airlines has proposed to bring commercial jets to Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport and extend its runway. Mr. McQueen will:
- Discuss how the TPA will assess Porter's proposal, should it be approved by Toronto City Council
- Explore the key social, environmental and economic factors that will influence the TPA's decision
- Provide an update of pending regulatory developments that will impact Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport regardless of City Council's ruling on commercial jets
Mr. McQueen will be available to speak to the media following his remarks.
