The program and theme for Ottawa–Gatineau's winter celebration will be unveiled, including the artists for the Sub-Zero concerts
OTTAWA, Jan. 12, 2018 /CNW/ - The Honorable Catherine McKenna, Minister of Environment and Climate Change and Member of Parliament (Ottawa Centre), on behalf of the Honorable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage, will take part in a press conference on Monday to announce the program for the 40th edition of Winterlude. Minister McKenna will be accompanied by Jim Watson, Mayor of Ottawa, and Louise Boudrias, Deputy Mayor, Ville de Gatineau.
Minister McKenna will also be joined by world-renowned Canadian performer André-Philippe Gagnon, as well as:
- The Ice Hogs
- The PyeongChang Olympic and Paralympic Games mascots
- The Governor General's Foot Guards
- Students from Nunavut Sivuniksavut
Winterlude will be taking place in Ottawa–Gatineau from February 2 to 19, with all sites open on Family Day.
