Olympic Gold Medallist, and Canada's Flag Bearer for the London Olympic Games, Simon Whitfield, to guide blind athlete, Terry Gardner, at the 2014 Toronto Triathlon Festival ("TTF"). Whitfield, Gardner and representatives from the TTF and Triathlon Canada will be on hand to unveil details of this summer's third annual event, taking place on the July 11 to 13 weekend. |
Whitfield believes in establishing a strong Toronto presence for the sport that has given him so much. He will also discuss how life, post Olympics, is going. |

This year's TTF Race Weekend will include an International Triathlon Union (ITU) Pan American Cup Race, a de facto test event for the upcoming 2015 Toronto Pan Am Games. Over 80+ national team athletes from around the world will compete for a US$10,000 prize purse on Saturday, July 12, 2014. |

The TTF created an unparalleled urban experience in 2012 and 2013, offering 3000+ triathletes the opportunity to compete in Toronto's downtown core. The 2013 TTF generated over $2 million in economic development. |
