TORONTO, Aug. 20 /CNW/ - The Second Annual Scotiabank BuskerBall kicks-off North America's largest street performance, Scotiabank BuskerFest, on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 in the St. Lawrence Market North Market. Both events help raise much needed funds and awareness for Epilepsy Toronto through this evening of glamour, giggles and gastronomical delights dazzling its guests with unbelievable entertainment by some of the festival's headlining acts.

WHY: | Approximately one in 100 people live with epilepsy, the world's most common neurological disorder. Epilepsy Toronto is a non-profit organization that provides support to more than 40,000 people living with epilepsy in this city. The 11th Annual Scotiabank BuskerFest, Toronto's International Street Performer's Festival, launches on Thursday August 26th at noon and continues through to Sunday, August 29, 2010. The Festival takes place throughout the St. Lawrence Market Neighbourhood along Front Street, from Jarvis Street to Yonge Street and all adjacent side streets.
