OTTAWA, June 18 /CNW Telbec/ - Assembly of First Nations (AFN) National Chief Shawn A-in-chut Atleo will host a press conference Monday to release a discussion paper entitled Taking Action for First Nations Post-Secondary Education: Access, Opportunity, and Outcomes.
National Chief Atleo will be joined by the Canadian Council on Learning (CCL), the Association of Community Colleges of Canada (ACCC), the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC), Canadian Federation of Students (CFS) and the Canadian Alliance of Student Associations (CASA).

In the wake of announcements by the Federal Government that it will reform post secondary education programming for First Nation students, the AFN brought together a group of experts and leaders in post secondary education for First Nation students. The discussion paper to be released is the culmination of this effort and charts the way forward for First Nation governments and the federal government.
