TORONTO, May 24, 2013 /CNW/ - Parachute's President and CEO, Louise Logan, joins Mayor Jim Watson in the nation's capital as he proclaims May 27-June 2, 2013, Parachute's Safe Kids Week, with the theme: Heads Up! Be Alert. Be Safe. Be Aware of Concussions, focusing on concussion prevention and awareness. The event launches the annual national campaign, which this year is aimed at Canadians becoming better educated about concussion and aware of the tools to prevent, recognize and manage concussion appropriately. Mr. Watson will challenge all mayors across Canada to sign this proclamation, so that young people can continue to enjoy the activities they love, injury-free.
