CALGARY, May 5, 2016 /CNW/ - Senior executives from across Western Canada's energy sector will meet next week to discuss strategies for success in the face of intense market and public acceptance challenges, and unprecedented policy change. Speakers at the Energy Council of Canada's annual western summit will include senior executives from leading companies, industry associations, and policy-making and regulatory agencies. Panelists and participants will bring a shared commitment to the continued development of Western Canada's rich conventional and renewable energy resources, in alignment with current economic realities and rising social and environmental expectations. They will discuss existing initiatives and further opportunities to advance this goal over the next five years.
