/R E P E A T -- Media advisory—News conference - United front to fight drug shortages in Quebec - Working Committee on Drug Shortages presents its recommendations/ Français
MONTREAL, April 12, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Media representatives are invited to a news conference where the Working Committee on Drug Shortages will present its recommendations. Created by the Ordre des pharmaciens du Québec, the committee examined the causes behind the shortages and their consequences. It is now proposing a series of measures to prevent these shortages and reduce their impact.
The news conference will take place on Monday, April 16, at 10 a.m. in the Salon Monet, Hôtel Sofitel, 1155 Sherbrooke Street West, Montreal.
The presidents of the organizations that took part in the committee and developed the recommendations will participate in the news conference and will be available to answer journalists' questions:
- Diane Lamarre, president, Ordre des pharmaciens du Québec (OPQ);
- Dr. Charles Bernard, president and CEO, Collège des médecins du Québec (CMQ);
- Normand Bonin, president, Association québécoise des pharmaciens propriétaires (AQPP);
- Charles Fortier, president, Association des pharmaciens des établissements de santé du Québec (APES).
