RICHMOND HILL, ON, June 6, 2013 /CNW/ - On Saturday, June 8 at 6:00 p.m., SEIU Healthcare members' Multi-Faith & Community Network 3rd Annual Fundraising Gala will be held at the Steelworkers Banquet Hall, 1158 Aerowood Rd. (Dixie and 401) in Mississauga. Proceeds from the event will be used to fund four post secondary scholarships to youth living in high risk GTA neighborhoods as well as one in the Jamaican neighborhood of Denham Town.

Organized by SEIU Healthcare members, the gala is the largest event for the Multi-Faith & Community Network. It is a forum designed to recognize the hard work of our nurses, personal support workers, dietary aids, clerical workers and environmental staff employed by hospitals, long-term care homes and community homecare agencies across the GTA and highlights the importance of our members being involved in initiatives to help build a better society for all citizens.
