TORONTO, March 7, 2014 /CNW/ - Explore and celebrate important scientific and technological advancements and discoveries made by scholars during the Golden Age of Islamic Science. This newly enhanced exhibition Sultans of Science highlights the multicultural roots of modern science and technology. Learn how early scholars developed the decimal point, flew the first successful glider and navigated the seas without a magnetic compass. Nine exhibition areas cover disciplines including astronomy, chemistry, mathematics, medicine and optics.
In the new IMAX film JERUSALEM, audiences take an inspiring and eye-opening tour of one of the world's oldest and most enigmatic cities. Through the eyes of three young Jerusalemites - one Jewish, one Christian, one Muslim and their families - learn what it means to call Jerusalem home, and experience celebrations and events that mark the high points of a year in the life of this city.
