Working in Space with Canadian Astronaut Chris Hadfield/
TORONTO, April 27 /CNW/ - GTA area secondary and Ontario Science Centre Science School students will join Canadian Space Agency Astronaut Chris Hadfield for a special presentation about the future of living in space and participate in a Q&A before screening IMAX Hubble at the Ontario Science Centre's OMNIMAX Theatre. Later the same morning, he will assist in the presentation of the second annual Weston Youth Innovation Award to Kimberly Gulevich of Fort St. John, BC.
The first Canadian astronaut to ever perform a spacewalk, Chris Hadfield will take part in NASA's undersea mission that uses the ocean floor to simulate exploration missions to the surface of asteroids, Moon and Mars in May this year. He is also part of a Canadian underwater science expedition (Pavilion Lake, BC), learning how to search for life in extreme environments.
