TORONTO, March 29 /CNW/ - Join The Hon. Deb Matthews, Minister of Health and Long-Term Care, at an event to celebrate the achievements of more than 140 international medical graduates (IMGs) who have earned coveted medical residency placements.
After the formal speaking portion of the event, there will be a group photo of all the physicians with the Minister as well as group photos of IMGs who will be doing residency at each of Ontario's six medical schools.

In changes announced earlier this month by the province, international medical graduates will be able to do their five-year return of service commitment in all communities in Ontario, with the exception of the Toronto area and Ottawa.
The IMGs are among the first announced in the 2010 Canadian Resident Matching Service and are clients of the Access Centre, a business unit of HealthForceOntario Marketing and Recruitment Agency.
