OTTAWA, July 29, 2013 /CNW/ - With the 2013 IPC Swimming World Championships taking place in Montreal from August 12 to 18, the National Para-Swimming team is now conducting its final preparations in Gatineau.
Media are invited to watch the team practice on Thursday August 1, to join the team for breakfast and to capture interviews, photo and video of athletes and coaches in advance of the worlds.

ABOUT TEAM CANADA AND THE 2013 IPC SWIMMING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Montreal 2013 will be the first ever para-swimming world championship in North America.
The world championships are the biggest international swimming event following London 2012 featuring 650 swimmers from 50 countries. The world's best swimmers will be in Montreal.
The Canadian team will feature a strong contingent of competitors from the Montreal area. Benoit Huot of Longueuil and Valerie Grand'Maison of Montreal are among the standouts on the 26-member team.
