OTTAWA, May 14, 2014 /CNW/ - Dr. Chris Milburn, an emergency room physician from Sydney, N.S and member of the Canadian Medical Association (CMA) Committee on Health Care and Promotion, will represent the CMA at the Senate Standing Committee on Banking, Trade and Commerce to discuss an increase in the excise tax on tobacco. The CMA has consistently recommended tough legislative and regulatory measures to control tobacco use.
