OTTAWA, Aug. 14, 2014 /CNW/ - Nine leading Canadian health organizations will release new concussion recommendations for all Canadians.
The Canadian Concussion Collaborative's recommendations are directed at all sport organizations (from recreational to elite level) school boards, parents, coaches and health care professionals. These recommendations will ultimately impact all Canadians, regardless of age, before they step onto the field of play especially when it comes to high risk, contact sports such as football, rugby, hockey and soccer.

The mission of the Canadian Concussion Collaborative (CCC) is to create synergy between health organizations concerned with concussions to improve education about concussions, and the implementation of best practices for the prevention and management of concussions.
