MONTREAL, Nov. 21, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Mr. Michel Leblanc, President and CEO of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal, is pleased to invite media representatives to the 2012 Tribute to Great Montrealers reception on Thursday, November 22, 2012 at 6 p.m., at Palais des congrès de Montréal.

Every year, the Board of Trade pays tribute to luminaries of the city's economic, social, cultural and scientific worlds, whose passion and community involvement make an outstanding contribution to Montreal's reputation.

As part of the closing celebrations for its 190^th anniversary, this year the Board of Trade will unveil the Constellation of Great Montrealers, a permanent site that will immortalize academy members past, present, and future, with the presence of Michael Applebaum, Mayor of Montréal.

On this occasion, we will honour five new Great Montrealers who have distinguished themselves in their respective spheres of activity.
