A Spin-O-Don will wind up this great fund drive to help thousands of people move forward towards a better future
MONTREAL, Jan. 12, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - Centraide of Greater Montreal will announce the result of its 2015 campaign on Wednesday, January 13 at 10:30 a.m. at Complexe Desjardins, just before the start of its second annual Spin-O-Don, a spinning bike relay involving 300 cyclists.
The money raised by the annual Centraide campaign will serve to support more than 350 community agencies and projects that help people in situations of poverty and social exclusion.

The co-chairs of Centraide's 2015 campaign—Andrew Molson, Chairman of RES PUBLICA Consulting Group, and Eric R. La Flèche, President and Chief Executive Officer of METRO—as well as Centraide President and Executive Director Lili-Anna Pereša, will participate in the announcement. Several partners in the campaign, including donors, volunteers and community agency representatives, will also be available for interviews.
Spinning to help so many move forward towards a better future
The announcement of the campaign result will be followed, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., by the Spin-O-Don for Centraide, during which teams of cyclists representing companies and community agencies will spin for three hours to raise funds. They will be encouraged by several well-known personalities, including Josée Lavigueur and professional racing cyclist Lex Albrecht.
This Spin-O-Don will reflect all the energy deployed by the 22,000 volunteers who, since last September 29, have been actively collecting donations in the 1,400 companies and organizations that participate in Centraide's campaign.
