MONTREAL, March 22, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Coalition Priorité Cancer au Québec will be hosting the 4th edition of the National Conference to Defeat Cancer, on March 29 and 30, at the Montreal Bonaventure Hilton.
The Coalition's president and vice-president, Dr Pierre Audet-Lapointe and Mrs. Nathalie Rodrigue, T.M. as well as Mr. Jean Pagé, patron of the 4th National Conference to Defeat Cancer, are inviting all media to attend this annual conference. Under the theme Cancer: a human challenge, first and foremost, the 4th National Conference focusses on patients, survivors and informal caregivers with a view to seeing and understanding beyond the statistics, while attempting to develop solutions designed to improve what is being done in Quebec to defeat cancer.
Given the steadily growing number of cancer cases in Quebec, we are entitled to ask the following questions:
- What is the cancer situation truly like in Quebec?
- What are the new issues in the fight against cancer?
- Are we, as a group, adopting the necessary means to deal with it?
- How can we adapt the organization of services and professional practices to technological changes and new forms of therapy?
