MONTREAL, Jan. 22, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Media representatives are invited to a speech presented by the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal as part of its Bell International Leaders series on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Théâtre Maisonneuve, Place des Arts. Colonel Chris Hadfield, astronaut and former commander of the International Space Station, will take the floor.
Called "the most famous astronaut since Neil Armstrong," Colonel Hadfield shared his space adventures with millions of people via social media. A pioneer in many ways, he was the first Canadian to command the International Space Station.
During his speech, Colonel Hadfield will share valuable lessons from his remarkable career with respect to leadership, teamwork, collaboration, science and technology. He will also motivate his audience to reach for the stars.
Alexandre Taillefer, Managing Partner at XPND, will have a discussion with Colonel Chris Hadfield following his speech.
Accredited media are authorized to film or photograph the first three minutes of the speech. Accreditation is mandatory. A press briefing will follow the speech.
The speech will be given in English and French.
