MONTREAL , Dec. 8 /CNW Telbec/ - Three former finance ministers, one a former prime minister and another a former premier, will take part in the Conseil du patronat du Québec's 40th anniversary celebrations to discuss the importance of employer participation in public debates:

    
    - The Right Honourable Paul Martin, prime minister of Canada from 2003 to
      2006 and minister of finance for Canada from 1993 to 2002
    - Bernard Landry, Quebec premier from 2001 to 2003 and Quebec minister of
      finance in 1985 and from 1996 to 2001
    - Monique Jérôme-Forget, Quebec minister of finance from 2007 to 2009.
    

These three former decision-makers will take part in a round table discussion hosted by Jean Lapierre , a political analyst for TVA.

Sam Hamad , Minister of Labour and Minister of Employment and Social Solidarity, will also attend, along with several other political figures and members of the business community. The event will pay tribute to 12 of the CPQ's leaders throughout its history. Current president Yves-Thomas Dorval will conclude the event by discussing the major challenges in the years to come.
