The magnificent instrument of the Basilica of the Oratory is one of the most prestigious organs in the world. It consists of 78 stops, 118 ranks and a total of 5811 pipes distributed over 5 mechanical action keyboards and pedalboard! This is the greatest achievement of the famous German organ builder Rudolf von Beckerath; built in Hamburg (Germany) from 1958 to 1959, it was installed at the Oratory in 1960.
Two concerts will mark the inauguration of the restored Beckerath organ, Sunday October 7 and 14 at 4:00 p.m.
Thank you for confirming your attendance no later than Monday, October 1.
