WHAT: |
In celebration of Shriners Hospitals for Children- Canada's 90th anniversary, hospital leadership and special guests will host a skating party on one-ok-a-kind rink on the current hospital grounds. The skating rink was a tradition at the hospital in the 1960s and 1970s, until renovation work in the 1980s. |
This is a historic year for the hospital as construction and planning continue before the move to the new location on the Glen site in the fall of 2015. |

There will be short speeches to commemorate the hospital's achievements in 90 years, a celebratory cheer which will be followed by the opening of the ice rink. |
