MONTREAL, April 1 /CNW Telbec/ - The spokesman for the Fondation Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau, Mr. Pierre Bruneau, proudly invites media representatives to Montréal-Trudeau International Airport to attend the grand departure of the 61 adventurers who will climb to Everest Base Camp (Asia) and to the summits of Mount Kilimanjaro (Africa) and Mount Elbrous (Europe) from April 3 to 22, 2010, as part of the project titled Les trois mousquetons.
This great adventure will include two departures:
KILIMANJARO AND EVEREST BASE CAMP ELBROUS SATURDAY, APRIL 3, 2010, TUESDAY, APRIL 6, 2010, AT 4:15 P.M. AT 5:15 P.M. The departures will take place in the presence of:
- Mr. Daniel Boucher, Quebec author-composer-performer, who will scale Kilimanjaro. - Mr. Pierre Bruneau, TVA news anchor, who will climb to Everest Base Camp. - Mr. Benoit Gagnon, radio and television host, who will brave Mount Elbrous. - Émilie Dagenais, Kassandra Dufour and Raphaël Hamel, our valiant mousquetaires.
Please note that Daniel Boucher and Pierre Bruneau will be available for interviews at the time of the first departure. Benoît Gagnon, for his part, will be available at the time of the second departure.

Les trois mousquetons
This ambitious project will involve the simultaneous ascent of three mountains on three different continents, with the objective of reaching their respective summits on the same day. In April 2010, therefore, three teams of climbers will attempt to reach Everest Base Camp (Asia) and the summits of Mount Kilimanjaro (Africa) and Mount Elbrous (Europe). The three summits should be reached on Thursday, April 15, 2010.
Financial objective
The objective of this grand adventure is to raise $1 million in support of the Fondation Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau.
