MONTRÉAL, June 20, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - From June 19 to June 22, 2018, Montréal is hosting the ICLEI World Congress­ ICLEI in the urban era. Participants from some 50 countries will converge at the Palais des congrès in order to draw their inspiration from domestic and international best practices. The event will provide an ideal opportunity for the media to exchange with some of the major players in the field of sustainable urban development from across the globe.

Highlights of the day:

• At 8:30 a.m., during plenary 4, Valérie Plante, mayor of Montréal, will speak alongside Nadia Petrolito, from L'Oréal Canada
• At 9:15 a.m., Marie-Ève Bordeleau, commissioner of Indigenous Relations, will facilitate plenary 5, regarding indigenous communities in an urban setting
• From 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., come aboard our bus and discover the projects that set Montréal apart!
