/R E P E A T -- Media Invitation - Invitation to Laurentian Bank's 2012 Annual Meeting of Shareholders/

MONTREAL, March 13, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Laurentian Bank will hold its Annual Meeting of Shareholders on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. The meeting will take place in Salle Pierre-Mercure at Centre Pierre-Péladeau, located at 300 de Maisonneuve Boulevard East in Montréal.

The event will be transmitted live via the Bank's Internet site. The feed can be viewed by simply logging on to the site at www.laurentianbank.ca and clicking on the Investors section under the Laurentian Bank tab.

Once again this year, this will be an eco-responsible meeting in the sense that the Bank is making a concerted effort to reduce the negative impacts of the event on the environment. Among the actions to be taken is the calculation of the greenhouse gas emissions generated in association with people travelling to and from the meeting. These emissions will then be compensated for with the planting of trees within various protected regions in Québec.

Journalists are welcome to attend the Annual Meeting as observers. However, no television, photo or video recording equipment will be allowed, except for a 15-minute period prior to the start of the event for media representatives wishing to take pictures. Camera operators and photographers will be asked to leave once the Annual Meeting proceedings begin.

Press Conference
Media representatives are invited to attend a press conference that will follow immediately after the Annual Meeting. The conference will be held at around 11:30 a.m. on March 20, 2012 at Centre Pierre-Péladeau and will be presided over by Mr. Réjean Robitaille, President and Chief Executive Officer of Laurentian Bank.
