MONTRÉAL, Sept. 2, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Montréal Space for Life invites media representatives to the launch of the third edition of Gardens of Light, everyone's favourite fall event at the Montréal Botanical Garden! Once again this year, visitors can look forward to a glowing and dazzling experience in the heart of the Chinese and Japanese Gardens.

Chinese Garden – new theme
This year, the Chinese Garden is presenting Zheng He – A Voyage of Discovery, illustrating one of the seven expeditionary voyages by Zheng He, also known as the Admiral of the Seas (1405-1433). You can admire some fabulous reproductions of his treasure ships and learn all about his seafaring exploits as you marvel at the nearly 1,000 traditional and thematic lanterns.

Japanese Garden – new route
The elegant play of shadows and light reveals an unexpected side of the Japanese Garden's plants and architecture. Surprising colours and details combine to produce a serene, hushed environment.
