ANNUAL ROUND TABLE
MONTREAL, Sept. 18, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Members of the press are invited to attend the Round Table held by the World Trade Centre Montréal, the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal's team of international trade experts, Thursday, September 19 at 7:15 a.m.
During the Round Table, Pierre Lortie, Senior Business Advisor, Dentons; John Parisella, Executive Director, Montréal Campus ‒ HEC Montréal, Polytechnique Montréal, Université de Montréal; and the Honourable Pierre S. Pettigrew, former MP and Minister for the federal government and Executive Advisor in International Affairs for Deloitte, will discuss the outlook for export market development for Quebec businesses.
Mr. Lortie will discuss the recent evolution in Asian markets, which are the second leading destination for Canadian exports. He will shed light on commercial trends and the development of Canadian-Asian relations.
Mr. Parisella will share his thoughts on the economic situation in the United States, as an expert in American politics and former Quebec delegate general to New York.
Mr. Pettigrew will address the economic climate in Latin America and its subsets. He will discuss the many business opportunities in the region and how to approach and manage possible partnerships.
This exclusive meeting, followed by a debate, will be hosted by Gérald Fillion, RDI économie host and reporter specialized in economics.
