Media representatives are invited to attend the special events
marking the start of the 16th Crescent Street Grand Prix Festival
and its three full days of activities, June 4-6.
Several major activities will take place on Thursday, June 4:
- 9:00 a.m. at the UPS kiosk (Crescent St. near Ste-Catherine St.)
Sebastian Vettel meets the media and the general public - 12:30 p.m. on the Corona Extra Stage (corner de Maisonneuve)
Opening ceremony of the Festival with dignitaries and celebrities including:- Jonas - Singer & JUNO award winner (in the "Rock" category)
- Shawn Robers - Actor (Resident Evil)
- Jean Petitclerc - Actor (19-2, Mémoires Vives, Toute la vérité...)
- Patrice Bernier, Evan Bush and Maxime Crépeau - Montreal Impact players
- Olivier Rochon - member of the national freestyle ski team, World Cup champion and winner of a "Globe de cristal" Award in 2011-2012 (jumps)
- Jean-Christophe André - member of the national freestyle ski team
- MC Mario - producer, DJ and radio host
- Roseline Filion, Meaghan Benfeito, Jennifer Abel and Pamela Ware - members of the senior national diving team
- 1:00 p.m. on the Alfa Romeo Stage (in front of Thursday's restaurant)
