/R E P E A T -- Media Invitation - News Conference - A Feminist Position on
Sex Work/
MONTREAL, Oct. 28 /CNW Telbec/ - Members of the Simone de Beauvoir Institute of Concordia University, Stella, a community organization advocating on behalf of sex workers, and the Ad-hoc Group for the Defense of Sex Workers' Rights, will outline their response to the Ontario Superior Court ruling that struck down Canada's laws governing prostitution. The point of view expressed through these diverse feminist voices comes in marked contrast to the position put forth by the Conseil du statut de la femme.
Representatives of the three organizations will make recommendations for future reflection and actions on the subject of sex work.
