/R E P E A T -- Media invitation - Official launch - Tremblant's 24h, 16th Edition "Motivated by the children!"/ Français
MONTREAL, Oct. 10, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - Media representatives are invited to the official launch of the 16th edition of Tremblant's 24h for the opportunity to meet the children who've been paired with the teams, hear their moving stories and learn what motivates participants in this event. The kick-off is at 5:00 PM Wednesday night, October 12, at the Société des arts technologiques (SAT) and will be attended by a number of celebrities and 24h ambassadors.
The 24-hour event itself takes place on December 9, 10, and 11, when skiers, walkers and runners will join efforts to support the cause of sick and underprivileged children.
On the program: testimonials, speeches and motivational messages, all in a festive atmosphere. On this night, we salute the courage and strength of the children who will benefit from this important fundraiser. Some of the kids will attend the launch to represent Fondation Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau and Fondation Tremblant, two of the three organizations that benefit from the event.
