MONTRÉAL, Aug. 3, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - You are invited to attend a press conference next Monday, August 7 at 10 a.m. at the Écomusée du fier monde, for the launch of the first national edition of Canada Pride Montréal 2017. Montreal Pride President and founder, Éric Pineault will be on hand with the event's two ambassadors, Sandy Duperval and Zachary-David Dufour, two of this year's 17 Grand Marshals, Mark Singh and Maïtée Labrecque-Saganash, the two co-presidents of the Scientific Committee of the national conference on "LGBTTIQA2S Lives: Our Struggles, Our Victories, Our Challenges", Mona Greenbaum and Bill Ryan as well as the two co-presidents of the Scientific Committee of the international conference "Equality and Legality" on sexual and gender diversity in the Francophonie, Line Chamberland and Patrick Awondo.

In addition, will also be present Ms Sylvie Demers, President, Quebec Division of TD Bank Group, official presenter of the event for an 8^th consecutive year and Ms Lucie Lamoureux,  Director of Corporate Responsibility at Loto-Québec, representing Casino de Montréal, a first-year collaborating sponsor.

Finally, an overview of the new features of the parade and highlights of the exceptional 2017 edition programming will be presented along with a few artists present.
