MONTREAL, May 5, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Jonathan Chodjaï, President of Immigrant Québec , is pleased to invite you this Friday, May 9, at 9:30 am, to the "kickoff" of the third edition of the Salon de l'immigration et de l'intégration au Québec (SIIQ) , presented by Desjardins. The event will be hosted by the lively Éric M'Boua, a "landmark" personality at SIIQ 2013.

At this event, organizers, partners and dignitaries, will talk about the importance of this fair, which has become a reference in terms of information and resources for immigrants. In protocol order, the speakers will be:

• Mr. Jonathan Chodjaï, President, Immigrant Québec;
• Mr. Stephan Reichhold, Director, Table de concertation des organismes au service des personnes réfugiées et immigrantes (TCRI);
• Mr. Sylvain Trottier, Senior Director, Business Development, Multichannel Services, Office of the Senior Vice-President for Greater Montréal, Mouvement Desjardins;
• Mr. Richard Deschamps, First Vice-President, Conférence régionale des élus (CRÉ) de Montréal;
• Mr. Dimitrios (Jim) Beis, Member of Montréal Executive Committee Responsible for Procurement, Sports, Recreation and Communities of Diverse Origins, City of Montreal;
• Ms. Kathleen Weil, Minister of Immigration, Diversity and Inclusiveness

Photo Exhibition
In addition, photographer Josias Gob will unveil his new giant portraits of "landmark" personalities for 2014: Lolitta Dandoy, fashion journalist and founder of the blog FashionIsEverywhere.com, Stéphanie Kitembo, director, producer and artist manager, Boucar Diouf, oceanographer and humorist, as well as Ben Marc Diendéré, Vice-President, Communications and Public Affairs,
La Coop fédérée, some of whom will be present. The portrait collection, which now numbers 10, will be exhibited for the full duration of the Salon.
