of public transit/
MONTREAL, Nov. 25 /CNW Telbec/ - Michel Leblanc, President and CEO of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal, is pleased to invite members of the press to a press conference on Friday, November 26, 2010, at 10 a.m. to release the results of a study entitled "Public transit: At the heart of Montréal's economic development."
This study builds on an earlier version from 2004. It establishes the basis of a strong argument in favour of massive investment in the public transit network. With supporting figures, it confirms that public transit contributes to our prosperity and quality of life through its influence on many areas: economic impacts, fluid traffic, property values, safety and public health.
