MONTRÉAL, April 14, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - Pointe-à-Callière is inviting media representatives to a press tour of the Amazonia. The Shaman and the Mind of the Forest. The Museum will be transformed into the Amazon forest in an immersive and multi-sensory experience that will showcase the shamanism and mythology of traditional Amazonian societies, while at the same time focusing on their rights, the defence of their ecosystem, and their ways of life.
The exhibition is produced by the MEG- Musée d'ethnographie de Genève and adapted by Pointe-à-Callière with the participation of the Royal Museums of Art and History, Brussels.
In attendance at the event will be Francine Lelièvre, Executive Director of Pointe-à-Callière.
