KYMA – Power of Waves - Milky Way Theatre - 30 minutes
See how waves are everywhere in our lives, in this immersive artistic piece created and directed by Philippe Baylaucq and produced by the National Film Board of Canada (NFB/René Chénier), set to original music by Robert Marcel Lepage. KYMA is the fruit of the very first partnership between Montréal Space for Life and the NFB. Watch the trailer on Youtube.
Edge of Darkness - Chaos Theatre - 25 minutes
Produced by the US firm of Evans & Sutherland and adapted by the Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium team (music, narration, staging), this show takes audiences into the amazing world of space exploration. Come along on a few recent missions and learn about their surprising revelations concerning tiny celestial objects in our Solar System (comets and asteroids).
