MONTREAL, May 31 /CNW Telbec/ - Media representatives are invited to attend Standard Life's Big Search on Friday, June 4, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Mount Royal Park. The event is designed to raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada.
Standard Life decided to focus on geocaching to attract attention to Big Brothers Big Sisters' urgent need to recruit new mentors. This is one of the first times this recreational activity is being used as part of a fundraising campaign in Canada. Approximately 200 participants will look for containers hidden on Mount Royal by using a GPS and a list of coordinates (latitudes and longitudes).
