MONTREAL, May 29, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Michel Leblanc, President and CEO of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal, and Louise Roy, President of the Conseil des arts de Montréal, co-chairs of the Honorary Committee for the Prix Arts-Affaires de Montréal, are pleased to invite the media to the announcement of the winners of the Prix Arts-Affaires 2011. The awards reception will be hosted by Geneviève Guérard and takes place on Thursday, May 31 at 5:30 p.m. at L'Astral.
The Prix Arts-Affaires de Montréal, an initiative of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal and the Conseil des arts de Montréal, recognize companies and individuals who have provided outstanding support to Montréal arts and cultural organizations between January 1 and December 31, 2011, in four categories.
The finalists in the Large Enterprise category are: National Bank Financial Group, sponsored by the Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal; Ivanhoé Cambridge, sponsored by the Montréal Fashion & Design Festival; Rio Tinto Alcan, sponsored by École Samajam; and Standard Life, sponsored by the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal.
The finalists in the SME category are: Encadrement Tout Autour, sponsored by Les éditions esse; Publicité Sauvage Inc., sponsored by Théâtre de Quat'Sous; and Sirius XM Canada, sponsored by Pop Montréal.
The finalists in the Arts/Business Personality category are: Pierre Bourgie, President of Société Financière Bourgie, sponsored by the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts; Jacques Dostie, Partner at Ernst & Young, sponsored by Théâtre ESPACE GO, the Groupe Le Vivier and Agora de la danse; and David B. Sela, President of Copap Inc., sponsored by Orchestre de chambre I Musici de Montréal.
