/R E P E A T -- Media invitation - The Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal presents a Strategic Forum on the presence of head offices in the city/ Français
MONTREAL, Nov. 29, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Mr. Michel Leblanc, President and CEO of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal, is pleased to invite media representatives to a Strategic Forum on the presence of head offices in the metropolitan area, on Friday, November 30, 2012, at 7:30 a.m., at Palais des congrès de Montréal.
In a context where the great metropolitan centres of the world are fiercely competing to attract and retain the head offices of multinational corporations, this event will focus on the strategies that the metropolitan area must adopt to position itself to take on this key challenge.
This Forum will be the occasion to discover how important the presence of head offices is to ensure the prosperity of the metropolitan area and to learn more about the challenges in attracting and retaining large companies, both in terms of taxation and qualified labour availability. It will also help to understand the reasons why leading organizations chose the city for their headquarters and to see the positive spin-offs of their presence.
