BIXI: Local product, international success

MONTREAL, May 5 /CNW Telbec/ - Media representatives are invited to attend the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal's Allstream Morning trends business breakfast on Thursday, May 6, 2010, at 7:30 am. Roger Plamondon, Chairman of Public Bike System Co., will be our guest speaker.

Mr. Plamondon will speak about the steps taken by BIXI, since Stationnement de Montréal was first given the mandate to create, develop, and operate a public bike system for the City of Montréal, to the launch of North America's first self-service bike system in May 2009. He will also explain how this system, which was completely re-examined and conceived by Quebecers, met its goal. Mr. Plamondon will take advantage of this occasion to share data that the Société has gathered about users, and will speak about the development outlook for BIXI, both in Montréal and at the international level. Results of the Société's business plan will also be presented.
