/R E P E A T -- Media Invitation - The Jasmin Roy Sophie Desmarais Foundation invites you to the launch of educational videos featuring Julian, the trans puppet/ Français
The initiative aims to help young people, parents and educators develop relational skills towards children who are exploring their gender identity.
MONTREAL, Aug. 29, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - More and more children are showing or expressing a gender identity in early childhood that does not correspond to the social norms related to the gender assigned at birth.
As part of its mission to fight bullying, violence and discrimination against children in primary and secondary schools, the Jasmin Roy Sophie Desmarais Foundation invites you to the September 5 launch of its new initiative: educational videos featuring Julian, the trans puppet.
The capsules, along with four educational booklets, aim to develop positive and caring environments for all. These innovative tools will enable parents, educators and children to develop emotional and relational skills towards young people who do not identify with traditional gender stereotypes or are exploring other avenues.
We invite you to view the first videos and consult the educational booklets on site during the press conference, which will feature the world premiere of the videos starring Julien, the trans puppet.
