MONTRÉAL, Sept. 27, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - On October 1st and 2nd, MEC Outdoor Nation's Think Outside Summit will see 75 young people aged 18 to 35 meet at Îles-de-Boucherville National Park to enjoy the beginning of Fall while developing projects to encourage and inspire their peers to get active outdoors.
After a weekend of workshops, inspiring speakers, retreats, yoga, canoe, kayak, paddle board outings as well as campfires, this event will culminate in the crowning of three winning projects. The creators of the winning projects will receive a grant from MEC, Canada's go-to place for outdoor gear, know-how and inspiration, to put their vision into action.
Members of the media are invited to attend inspiring talks and workshops, meet participants who will be presenting their original ideas, discuss projects with spokesman and Olympian Hugues Fournel and interview speakers and panelists.
