/R E P E A T -- Media invitation - Young people and well-known personalities will kick off the 3rd annual Centraide Cup with a spirited soccer game/ Français
MONTREAL, Sept 3, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - The media are invited to attend theCelebrity Match that will kick off the 3rd annual Centraide Cup on September 6, at 11:30 a.m., at Stade Saputo. This spirited soccer game will oppose two teams of well-known personalities and of young people helped through the support of Centraide and the Montreal Impact Foundation.
The teams will include former soccer player Lloyd Barker, Olympic medallist Isabelle Charest, celebrity chef Martin Juneau (Les Prix Juneau), actors Émile Mailhiot (Yamaska), Daniel Parent (La Galère) and Joey Scarpellino (Les Parent). Former athlete Bruny Surin will act as coach. The event will be MC'd by Camille Dg, presenter with MAtv (Libre-service).
The Centraide Cup is a corporate soccer tournament that will oppose more than 300 employees from some thirty companies throughout the weekend of September 6 and 7 at Stade Saputo. All proceeds from this charitable event will go to the 2014 Centraide Campaign and the Montreal Impact Foundation, which support agencies that improve the quality of life for disadvantaged children and families.

The companies that will compete in the 2014 Centraide Cup are: Aéroports de Montréal, Aon Hewitt, BMO Financial Group, Bombardier, CAE, CGI, CIBC, Corner Store, Deloitte, Fasken Martineau, Ferreira Café, Hydro-Québec, Industrial Alliance, Jean Coutu Group (PJC), Laurentian Bank, Morneau Shepell, Mouvement Desjardins, National Bank, Passion Soccer Boutique, Pharmascience, Pratt & Whitney Canada, RBC Royal Bank, Rolls-Royce, Saputo, SNC-Lavalin Group, Sobeys Québec, Standard Life, Stikeman Elliott, Suncor Energy, Touché!, and Xerox Canada.
The general public will be allowed free access to the main field and synthetic field of Stade Saputo in order to watch all the games. Montreal Impact players will be present throughout the weekend. There will also be inflatable games for the children and animation.
