MONTRÉAL, Sept, 29, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Media representatives are invited to attend a Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal business luncheon on Tuesday, September 30 at noon. Yves Desjardins-Siciliano, president and chief executive officer of VIA Rail Canada, will be the guest speaker.

Mr. Desjardins-Siciliano will discuss the Canadian context for VIA Rail and how the company intends to tackle challenges to its development. He will address major issues for rail carriers with respect to sources of financing and prospects for improving passenger transport in Canada.
