OTTAWA, June 25, 2013 /CNW/ - A special opportunity to mark Canada Day and produce a story that will undoubtedly be of interest to your readers/listeners.
Last may, Parks Canada announced the two new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Parks Canada Youth Ambassadors, Julia Belliveau and Colin Sutherland. In their role as Youth Ambassadors, they will explore some of Canada's most unique and interesting places first-hand - biking, kayaking, hiking and reliving history - and share these experiences with youth in their communities and at Parks Canada locations.
As part of their mission, 19-year old Julia, from Sussex, New Brunswick, and 23-year old Colin, from Ottawa, Ontario, will be roaming the country and sharing their vision with other young adults through social media.
Julia and Colin will be in Ottawa to celebrate Canada Day and will attend Parks Canada's planned activities as part of the Canada Day in the Capital celebrations.
