THE ROYAL READIES FOR OPENING DAY/

TORONTO, Nov. 1 /CNW/ - On Thursday, November 4, media are invited to come down to The Royal and experience the magic of the country, as the final touches are put on the 88^th annual Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. 

Media will be able to try their hand - quite literally - at milking dairy cattle, washing and blow-drying beef cattle as they ready for competition, learn how to throw a lasso or simply sample some of The Royal's sumptuous snacks including chocolate covered bacon.

An official Royal spokesperson will be onsite for one-on-one interviews, and to detail the exciting new elements of this year's Royal.

Running from Friday, November 5 to Sunday, November 14, 2010, The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair is the world's largest combined indoor agricultural and equestrian show, and showcases innovations in food and agriculture, thousands of livestock animals, and dozens of the world's top equestrian horses and riders.
