TORONTO, June 8, 2018 /CNW/ - Mental illness indirectly affects all Canadians at some time in their lives through a family member, friend or colleague. Women, however, experience depression twice as often as men yet are three times more likely to experience barriers to accessing mental health care.
That's why on Saturday, June 9th, women, family members, colleagues and friends from Toronto will be taking part in the SHOPPERS LOVE. YOU. Run for Women, along with Olympian Lanni Marchant. They will be raising important funds to support the mental health program at Women's College, the largest clinical and research program of its kind in Canada.
