/R E P E A T -- Mercier Bridge: Closure of One of Two Lanes on the Access
Ramp Heading to La Prairie from October 7 until October 9/

LONGUEUIL, QC, Oct. 6 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) and the Ministère des Transports du Québec (MTQ) wish to inform the public of the closure of one of two lanes on the access ramp heading to La Prairie (ramp 2) from 7 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7 until Friday, October 9 .

Please note that the access ramp to the Mercier Bridge from Châteauguay (ramp 4) is also closed to traffic. During the roadwork, access to Highway 132 heading to La Prairie will be reduced to one lane.

The roadworks could be postponed to the following day in case of rain. Traffic would therefore stay open to traffic in both lanes in direction of La Prairie.

Motorists are encouraged to use other South Shore bridges during the duration of the repair work, as well as take public transportation.
