/R E P E A T -- Mercier Bridge: Complete closure of Ramp 4 during the night
of June 30 to July 1 - increased traffic between 10 PM and Midnight/
LONGUEUIL, QC, June 29 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) and the Ministère des Transports du Québec (MTQ) wish to inform the public that Ramp 4 of the Mercier Bridge (on ramp from Chateauguay) will be completely closed to traffic during the night from Wednesday, June 30 at 10 PM until Thursday, July 1 at 5 AM.
This closing will permit the installation of streetlights on Ramp 4. Motorists that take this route, are advised to take the access ramp of Route 138 to 132. At the Old Malone Road intersection, motorists will be directed to make a U-Turn on Route 132 to take Ramp 2 to Montreal (on ramp from La Prairie).
There may be an increase in traffic in accessing the Mercier Bridge between 10 PM and midnight on Wednesday, June 30.
