TORONTO, April 5, 2012 /CNW/ - The Governments of Canada and Ontario, with the University of Toronto, Western University and IBM Canada will be announcing significant investments in a collaborative research and innovation partnership in Ontario.
The partnership will be unveiled by the following:
- The Honourable Gary Goodyear, Minister of State for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario
- The Honourable Brad Duguid, Ontario Minister of Economic Development and Innovation
- Dr. Amit Chakma, President and Vice-Chancellor, Western University
- Professor David Naylor, President, University of Toronto
- Professor Paul Young, Vice President Research, University of Toronto
- Mr. John Lutz, President, IBM Canada
Speakers will participate in a photo opportunity and will be available to answer questions from the media following the event.
